About S.A.M.

Simple Acts Ministries, Inc. is a Christian nonprofit public charity based in Mission Viejo, California. We provide anonymous gifts to families and individuals in the Southern California area with the hope that the recipients will direct their thankfulness to God alone for His provision. We have a five member Board of Directors who are responsible for the ministry's direction. The board also makes the final decision for gift qualifications. We make assistance decisions based on God's leading and a set of criteria that help us to determine that qualification. Gift types can include but are not limited to encouragement, financial aid, material assets, information, and repair services. It is also the purpose of Simple Acts Ministries to encourage others to start their own small groups to meet the needs of families in their areas. The “Start Your Own” section of this site will answer your questions on how to build your own anonymous giving action group.

Participation Levels

S.W.A.T. Team members (Spiritual Warriors Appellate Team) are those who pray for our Board's decisions and for the recipients of S.A.M. gifts. They also pray for those whose needs are brought to our attention, but do not qualify for S.A.M.'s help.

S.A.M. Partners are those who financially support the ministry through their tax deductible contributions.

S.A.M. Agents are those who inform us of a need and/or help us carry out our anonymous, covert giving missions.
